Introduction

There are dynamic changes happening in the healthcare for which medical practitioners, due to the role they play, their education and the respect they have acquired are well positioned to lead. To be an effective player in forming and bringing forth  these changes, the medical practitioner  must clearly understand the factors leading to  the change, the mandates for practice change ,and the competencies (information,  and  state of mind )that is  required for individual  and overall  success. With upcoming changes in care delivery, advancement in technology and increased patient expectations, as health professionals the role of the nurses is growing and evolving tremendously. This therefore requires the nurses to have the latest information at hand so that they can successfully evaluate and treat their patients.

To be fruitful in value –based initiatives, organizations of health must be on the lookout and ensure the nurses are working at their best (Echevarria, 2017). By executing recently characterized standardized methods, clinicians are expanding enlisted nurse’s scope of clinical decision making including pharmaceutical refills and anticoagulant and chronic care management and treatment. Medical attendants are however performing physical examination, giving triage, and hence presenting patient medical report to practitioners-activities that altogether progress general workflow. The elimination of activities which do not in any way contribute to the health and wellbeing of the ailing person is the key leadership initiative of the nurses. Through growth in the role and leadership of enrolled medical practitioners and bringing to practice processes brought forth by technological innovations in basic care, provider organizations bring great transformation in healthcare delivery accomplishing efficiency and best results at lower costs.

In conclusion, almost all experts agree that by 2030, the care delivery team will have great transformation. This will have greatly affected my practice in the nursing profession. A few reasons among them the move in focus to population health welfare.
