Answer:
Introduction
The change in nursing care organizations can be changed with the effective implementation of updated nursing ethics. The factors that influence changes are ethical, social, legal, economic and political. The study will analyse the ethical, social, legal, and economic change in an healthcare organization. The conclusion will summarize the whole study and will define a future prospect of change.
Analysis
- Ethical: Quality care is one of the key concepts of nursing ethics. The ethical perspectives of nursing care are knowledge of nursing care, efficiency in the decision-making process and evidence-based patient-centered care (Daughen, 2017). An organization needs an ethical change when the caregivers are not efficient in their duty of care.
- Social: Nursing ethics has a strong social impact. Equal distribution of quality care in society is the key indicator of nursing care performance. The social change is required when the nurses are unable to perform their ethical perspective of social duty (Ulsperger & Ulsperger, 2018)
- Economic: Economy plays a pivotal role in the nursing care profession. Pay for performance initiatives must be renewed with the updated concept to provide maximum nursing workforce to the nursing care organizations (Ulsperger & Ulsperger, 2018). The concept of cost offset is considered to be a patient eccentric care. Thus, the economic strategies must be changed.
Reflection: I have witnessed in my nursing care that the management changed the performance-centric care to patient-centric care that includes cost offsets. This has made the organization ethically integrated
Conclusion
The study has discussed the ethical, social, legal, economic and political change in nursing care organization. The change in the nursing ethics and economic concept can influence the future decision-making process.
