Sub: Application for admission into nurse school
Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to express my interest and apply for the baccalaureate degree in nursing in your college. I am interested to pursue this degree because through this degree I will be able to receive a Registered Nurse (RN) license after the successful completion of the baccalaureate degree (BSN). American Nurses’ Association (ANA) has made it mandatory for the all the Registered Nurses to have the baccalaureate degree. The reason for making it mandatory is because the nursing profession nowadays has become more complex due to the organizational and the technological changes. This rapid development demands higher levels of education from the nurses’ end. ANA has emphasized that providing higher education to the nurses will be increasing the status of the nursing profession and reduce the issues arising due to nursing shortages. The goals of attaining the baccalaureate degree are to increase the earning potential which will come with the increased sense of accomplishment. The increased sense of job security comes with the value of the course and the potentiality of the baccalaureate course. This will increase my chances of employability. The other major goals of pursuing the BSN course are: the holder of the BSN degree can provide better patient care which leads to better health outcomes. This reduces the rates of the mortality and the BSN holders have the capability to work proficiently and can make better diagnosis.
I will be grateful if you kindly consider my application for the baccalaureate course.
