Students will be provided with a patient overview which they will need to write up as a full case report including the points listed below.

The patient overview will contain:

  • the patient demographic information
  • reason for admission and subsequent diagnosis

The patient is a 67yr Aboriginal male with an extensive medical history including chronic kidney disease (CKD) reliant on haemodialysis. He is obese at 176cm and 100kg. His insulin?dependent diabetes is poorly controlled and has progressed with evidence of retinopathy, neuropathy and nephropathy.
