The strengths of the local health care service is that they help in maintaining health, the services at lower costs, and offer personalized care. On the other hand, the weaknesses include, lack of proper equipment to administer treatment, lack of highly-qualified personnel, and poor services.

1. One of the health care issues in my local area is prevalence of obesity.
2. This is a current because most of the people suffer from this condition and it also result to chronic diseases such as cancer and diabetes.
3. There have several policies in regards to this condition including establishment of the physical activity and nutritional diet Act in schools.
4. I consider this policy effective because physical activity helps individuals to burn calories and fats which results in obesity. Eating nutritional diet such vegetables and fruits also help in reducing the condition.
