Clinical Case Analysis: Blood Pressure Adherence Among Hypertensive Veterans

A clinical investigator has received funding for a study of blood pressure adherence among hypertensive veterans. The protocol includes blood pressure measurement in a series of clinic visits. The PI has identified 12 clinicians to participate in the study. As a pilot test, the PI had 6 subjects present to the offices of the 12 clinicians for a single blood pressure measurement on two separate days. The spreadsheet includes the results of that effort. All measurements were completed by the 12 in their offices with different manometers and within 90 minutes. The two visits were separated by a week.

The PI has come to you asking if she can use the 12 clinicians for the study and if the study is ready to begin.
